Finding New England

We moved to New England a few years ago. The coastline was a big draw with incredible cruising grounds for sailing and gainful employment, with room to boot for the outdoors. After our foray into New York City, we rediscovered our hobbies and passions, while establishing careers, in New England.

New England

Our graduate school advisor warned that scientist couples face the dreaded “two body problem.” As we discovered through years of long-distance relationships, you need to find a town with room for two. A university town is a good start. Turns out New England has a few.

Our criteria were family, friends, mountains, oceans, jobs, and dogs. Now that we’ve lived in her mountains and along her coasts … New England … check!
